Judge Dredd, Brass Sun, Flesh, Aquila and Damnation Station – plus how many references can you see on that cover!
The final part of Judge Dredd – New Tricks is a fun read, with some betrayal and a twist at the end as the Goblin King is revealed! Especially for long term 2000AD readers! The art is strong and it has introduced and re-introduced some characters that I would like to see more of!
Brass Sun – The Diamond Age brings our heroes out of one fire and into a potential other! The betrayals are increasing and it’s good to see that there isn’t a full amount of trust going on here! I like the look of the library!
In Flesh – Badlands, we get a nice flashback to the history of one of the crew, someone who seems pretty moral and may be useful to the story as a whole. This was a nice break while the team travel and some more of these dotted through the story would be good!
Aquila – Where All Roads Lead – continues our look at Rome and the many gods and gods servants that are in the city. Violent and humorous this is a great read and each issue is easy to read!
Finally, Damnation Station – Tales of the Dragon, gives us a closer look at space, the enemy and finishes with a crash – so we’ve got an alien planet to deal with as well. The story is getting easier to read, and the group involved are varied!
