Review: Hoax Hunters #11

Regan and Donovan’s encounter with the deadly demon in their search for the Book of All Futures reveals a shocking insight from Donovan’s past. Meanwhile, Jack and Ken continue to quell the surging cryptid activity across the Midwest.

Some issues of Hoax Hunters are light, some are dark – this is one of the darkest I have read! We get an origin of types for Donovan, and it finishes with a nice twist – fighting the demon was also interesting. While Jack, Ken and Murder deal with more birds. I’m glad to see Murder OK, as I’ve become quite attached to the astronaut full of crows! This continues to be an excellent read, with some dark art and creepy to boot. There’ s still a lot to discover from Hoax Hunters and it has moved away from that X-Files feel!
