Review: Ghostbusters #9

ghostbusters9

“Devil’s Night” — When he died, Stingy Jack couldn’t get into Heaven or Hell, and has wandered the Earth ever since. He’s made his way to Manhattan, he’s feeling malicious… and if the Ghostbusters can’t stop him, he’ll burn the city to the ground! It’s the beginning of a busy season of horrifying holidays for our heroes — HAPPY HORROR DAYS starts here!

ghostbusters9-1

Around the time of Halloween, there is one series I can depend on – Ghostbusters – and this is no exception. The taking of an old myth and adding in the Ghostbusters is a tried and tested method and keeps on working. Add in to that the banter between the teams and the clever storytelling and this is a good a jumping on point as any for any new readers.
The new villain and his reasoning is excellent and the build to the story is really well constructed, the team think there is an ending, but we know from experience that it isn’t!

Plus I really like the cover!
