Glow-In-The-Dark-Radio have two new titles out this week with a difference between the two!

The Adventures of Alibi Jones

Alibi Jones is a mediator for the Solar Alliance in the 2130’s. As humankind explores the stars, we’re encountering races both older and younger than our own. Alibi helps negotiate trade deals and other alliances as part of the Solar Alliance Interplanetary Force – SAIF!

Each issue of “The Adventures of Alibi Jones” contains at least a couple of complete stories — plenty of “done in one” fun!

Alibi Jones gives us a number of done-in-one short stories with links that can be looked at for future stories. For readers, we soon get some nice looks at the worlds in the alliance of planets and some of the aliens involved. These stories use a great concept – the negotiations of trade and disputes between alien worlds as a starting point. There is some rich artwork here, full of detail and imagination and a great read for sci-fi fans!

Good Samaritan: Unto Dust

Would a loving God really give you the power to kill a man by turning him into dust? …It’s Boston, Massachusetts, in 1965, and Father Bill Sullivan is a Roman Catholic priest with a secret – he wields awesome energies he believes are given him by God. The “Power of the Holy Spirit” manifests around him as nebulous tentacles of purple and gold energy and smoke. The Power allows “Good Samaritan” – as he calls himself – to hover, grab criminals and restrain them, subject thugs to the experience of their own crimes in his “Confessional”, and occasionally render ultimate judgment by turning perps into dust as he proclaims, “Remember Man that thou art DUST and unto dust thou shall return!”

A new menace is tangling with Good Samaritan, a creature preying on children. And “normal” life is presenting its own problems as the new Cardinal of the Archdiocese apparently has it in for Father Sullivan!

Changing tact, time and style, Good Samaritan is another excellent concept – the setting between the time, place and style is very well done. We get some very nice concepts here, with the Priest having to deal with the streets and internal issues within the church. I think there are some more twists to come here, and I look forward to more to come!

As an extra title, Glow-In-The-Dark-Radio also have Introducing…Red Hot! – Which is well worth checking out if you want a superhero yarn!

How do you prove you’re a hero? Using inherited fire powers, Red Hot is hoping to figure that out as he follows in the footsteps of his father and grandfather – the original and second “Red Hots”. It’s not going so well…
