Reviews: Star Wars & The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

The greatest space adventure of all time continues! Luke Skywalker is not a Jedi, not yet, at least. He’s only ever met one Jedi in his life…and he died. So, Luke’s quest leads him back to Obi-Wan’s hut on Tatooine.

Kicking off it Jabba’s palace, we get some links to the Darth Vader series as Jabba deals with the Sith. There is some brilliant back and forth and works well in this issue. There are two other keyu happenings in this issue – first is Luke leaving the rebels to ‘find himself’ as a Jedi – this looks to have a collision course with Vader and or Fett! Finally there is a mystery person, who seems to have a beef with Han Solo (who doesn’t?) I would say that this person seems to look like Lando’s disguise in Return of the Jedi – mysteries!

The final showdown between Galactus and Squirrel Girl is here! It’s the Power Cosmic versus the Power Chestnut: Who will win? Also, Squirrel Girl is late for class. So there’s two disasters coming!

When I first starting this issue and saw the cover, I thought that the issue was still downloading on my tablet!
Squirrel Girls gains an ally and there is some excellent conversations with the eater of worlds! These adventures add a little pace to the main story where the background is moving a little slow. There is some nice aspects here and some fun with the readers in the beginning of the story!
