Thoughts On Digital Comics: Bill & Ted, Darth Vader, Five Ghosts, Doctor Who, Injection, Project Superpowers, Thor & Saga

Some random thoughts on digital comics out this week!

Bill and Ted's Most Triumphant Return #3

Bill and Ted’s Most Triumphant Return #3

This issue reminded me of the old Bill & Ted cartoon series – dotting around the past, present and future! We are now getting into Back To The Future territory here! There are some fun comments here and an interesting twist at the end to move us on!

Darth Vader (2015-) #5

Darth Vader #5

This issue also moved us on – the point that Darth Vader was getting to was very interesting, with The Emperor making an appearance towards the end. It reminded me of an old Dark Horse Comic with the return of Darth Maul – next issue looks to have a lot of action!

Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor #10

Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor #10

This issue is a good done-in-one story which helps to add some layers onto the Doctor and those around him! I did think that the issue and the solution seemed a little rushed and that this could have been over 2 issues.

Five Ghosts: Special

Five Ghosts: Special

I really enjoy Five Ghosts and this special gives us some very interesting background into the nature of the dreamstone! The painted art is amazing and well suited to the story being told. As a back up story we also get Fabian acting as a thief for information – this was interesting and can only lead up to the new series!

Injection #1

Injection #1

Crazy people, other dimensions, weird stuff, and a history lesson! Warren Ellis is back with a new series which feels a little like a cross between Planetary and Trees! I really liked this and am curious about it all!

Project Superpowers: Blackcross #3: Digital Exclusive Edition

Project Superpowers: Blackcross #3

Things are shaping up in this reboot of the Project Superpowers universe – with some familiar aspects making an appearance here as well as more mysteries – some are getting close to the truth!

Thor (2014-) #8

Thor #8

This one was spoiled the day before, but it doesn’t make it any less interesting! There is some interesting things to come out of this issue, how will the Odinson react when he does find out, how will this all end (I’m thinking badly) and what next?

Saga #28

Saga #28

Saga is truly the only title this series could have! I really like the cast as they come and go, there are reasons and ways for everything, and every choice has consequences! Especially at the end of this issue!

Check out the ad at the end for Private Eye!
