The Little Mermaid #5
In the dramatic, not to be missed finale of the Little Mermaid, the true motives of the Sea Witch are revealed as Erica learns the price of her freedom. And the cost may be more than she is willing to bear! Meanwhile, the King of Atlantis makes a decision that may change the ocean forever.
The conclusion to this mini-series gives us a new status quo, as well as a look to what may be involved with a future mini-series. This has been a fast moving series, and this issue continues this theme. Mermaids, hybrid soldiers, the Sea Witch, it all happens here, and after the dust is clear, and the battle is over – which is excellent – there is a new beginning for Atlantis!
Realm War #10
Sela and team took the fight to the Dark Horde and showed the Dark Queen that she is not invulnerable. However, as they celebrate their small victory, the Dark Queen prepares to unleash her new ally. Will Sela’s reprieve cost her dearly?
We only have two more issues of this maxi-series – and here the Dark Queen thinks she has the upper hand, with a final push to destroy any resistance to her reign. Sela is close to giving up, and it’s only at the end we get a surprise ally – although, when you think about it, not much of a surprise! – all the players are now on the board and we will get a epic ending!
