This weeks 2000 AD thoughts!
In Judge Dredd – Enceladus: Old Life there are some discoveries made up in space, with a look under the surface of Enceladus. Meanwhile, down in Mega City One, we get some classic Dirty Frank, with the Chief Judge. He meets ‘Nixon’ and realises that she is not Nixon – just a memory…. Then Dredd returns to the fray.
The Alienist: The Haunting of Hex House we get a jarring itinerary of the horrors of the house that our members find themselves in! We get another visit and it doesn’t go well for one of the party, but things seem to be starting to slide into place. It’s an interesting read 0 especially with the different characters!
Tharg’s 3hrillers: Apocolypse Anonymous moves into the second act. In this we get a good look at the threat – drawn to a zone of evil, in this case in a war zone – and how it has to be dealt with. So far, so standard. the team are interesting and I wish we could see more of them, as I really like the premise!
Grey Area: First Bite has the Grey Area biting back against the god-star as a scout lands. There is some brilliant setup here, and it looks like we’re getting to the action. The humour remains in this series – even in such a serious situation.
Dreams of Deadworld: Fire gives us a look at Judge Fire and his time on Deadworld. The art is amazing – well suited for the story. The story itself is interesting – Death gets the most PR out of all the Dark Judges, so this is a great read if you want more of the other Dark Judges!
