In Judge Dredd: Ghost Town we get the second part of this Judge Dredd story with Dredd looking at the possibility of introducing a civilian force. Things do not go well and Dredd makes some pretty harsh decisions as to the future – some for individuals and some for the City. This is a dark tale which will lead us into the future of Mega City One!
The Alienist: The Haunting of Hex House final part finishes off with a battle between the people of earth and this from the other dimension – this story has worked well as an introduction as well as a prologue to a greater story and something to look forward to in the future – a classic 2000 AD story!
Future Shocks: Re-Incarn-8 gives us a short story combining mystics, science and big business. There are some excellent pieces here – setting us up to believe the reincarnation theory and science, as well as the individual character. This would make a great ongoing!
Dreams Of Deadworld: Death features the top Judge – Death and his investigation into a death of another Judge – he also makes a cull of the others as this prequel of the Dark Judges comes to a close – it’s been an interesting ride as we get into the mind (brrr) of the Dark Judges!
