We’re at the midway point now and the introductions are all sorted, the Aliens are here to help, the Zombies…aren’t and the humans are stuck in the middle. There are the heroic ones and the ones who are out for themselves! This issue sets the tone nicely with the kit the aliens need being in the middle of the zombies and the humans helping and causing problems in equal parts. It’s an interesting idea having the aliens as scientists instead of warriors and it seems to be working!

Grimm Fairy Tales #114

DEATH BREATH! Sela and Shang have located a new prospective student? Mary. But when their first interaction with her includes a horde of the undead and a ritualistic murder, they’ll be faced with a difficult decision. Meanwhile, at Arcane Acre, Skye and Wiglaf begin to suspect that Lance is manipulating them.

This issue brings in a new character to the Arcane Acre school and there is something a little dark about her…. This is a suitable issue for Halloween time and the dead are returning… It was also nice to see Shang and Sela teaming up with each other as they go looking for this new recruit. Meanwhile things are going on in the background without their knowledge!
Grimm Fairy Tales 2015 Halloween Special #1
Sela Mathers is asked to be a guest speaker at a small college, but what she doesn’t realize is that the 3 Little Pigs from her past have some very big horrors in store for her! The 3 Little Pigs return, and this time, they’ve summoned an evil that may be too powerful for anyone to contain! Could this be the end for Professor Sela Mathers? Find out in Zenescope’s all new Halloween Special!

A one-shot story just for Halloween – Sela goes out herself visiting old friends and has problems of her own… This was an interesting read and a fun one-shot, I must say I worked out the identity of the demon before it was said, maybe that says more about me though! This was a good one-shot for new readers too!
