In the year 1993, after decades spent locked in a bitter Cold War, tensions reached a breaking point. The Soviet Union and the United States were ready to unleash weapons that would ignite a global war of epic proportions. If it had not been for a small group of Uniques, led by Mentor and Kinetic and the League of Seven, World War III would have surely come to pass.

One year later, the greatest leaders and heroes of the free world met at The United Nations for a celebration commemorating the end of the Cold War. The terrible events of that day – April 18th 1994 – would live in infamy.

The Uniques Remastered

The first run of The Uniques ran from 2008-10, but this was always intended to be the beginning of a long epic, spanning several decades of story.

Now, after several years away, they have returned to the series that began their careers. To celebrate the grand re-launch, they are remastering, expanding, and re-releasing all of the previously-released issues in a special Extended Director’s Cut series leading into the start of the “second season” of the story in 2015.

The Voivod is compelled to deny permission for the troops to cross the land since he is in a good relationship with Transylvania. He promises he will send his son to Mehmed as a slave, a son he has never seen, to maintain peace…
