My thoughts on a beginning of a new arc from Vertigo
We start a new story arc with Lucifer here and we get a couple of satanists going to a town of satanists. This is made all the more fun as we know that Lucifer exists. The build up is pretty obvious, but fun to read. It looks like we’re going to have a battle for the throne of hell. There was no Lucifer in this issue, but he was felt in many way. I really like the conversations between the two teenagers and the parents. There is a nice touch with the dead girl – including the build up to her reveal and then the fallout between them! I liked this issue and hope it continues this pace! The art is really good, with some nice panels and lines.
