Reviews: Atomic Robo and the Temple of Od & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Thoughts on some of this weeks digital comics from IDW Publishing

After a quick flashback, we’re back to where we left Robo and his team – in trouble! Robo tries his best to relieve the tension, but that doesn’t work out too well! This issue is full of action – not just from Robo and the tech-wizards he is fighting at the time, but also the bandits who decided to make their presence fealt. This story is far from over, but this was a great issue!

Casey seems to be on his mission, which he does in an action packed few pages, meanwhile, we catch up with the rest of the team. Donnie and April are up next, with April stressing about the research they have to do. Donnie is calmer and has it broken down for April – teamwork is right! Harold seems to be in a bad place and there seems to be plans afoot for him. There’s a touching scene with Mikey and Raph and it plays our really well! Harolds kidnapping hasn’t gone unnoticed and it looks as though Splinter has a plan – although there is a twist to this that doesn’t look good!

After a quick recap of the previous issue, we get a look at where Donnie is now – Drip is the new problem! Donnie has a little explaining to do, and once he gets the team up to speed they have to deal with this water-mutant. Donnie has a plan and manages to deal with the problem – in such a way that it may be a potential problem in the future!
Next up Renet returns to help Michaelangelo see the funniest thing in his life! The problem is a little causes a little cause and effect, but it’s amusing nevertheless!
