Reviews: Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, Civil War II, The Punisher & Star Wars

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #10, Civil War II #6, Punisher Annual #1 & Star Wars #24

My thoughts on this weeks digital Marvel Comics

I think this concludes the story, and maybe the series (?), but it was a very nice rounding off of the story arc. We get answers to all the questions asked in the preview text. And it’s very well done. I like the new Deathlok and the reactions it has and people have to it. Also we get a conclusion the the Coulson story and that gets it all back in the box for someone else to take it on! This is a nice team book and I’ve enjoyed it a lot!

Less so action here as we get towards the end of this series. It’s been a little disappointing, but it’s interesting to see who’s on the same side as Captain Marvel! The reactions to the vision are also very interesting – as is that of Black Panther and his conversation with Iron Man. This bodes interesting with the Inhumans and Ulysses (although it’s short). I think there’s a lot to happen/do in the final issue!

A nice one-shot that puts you in the mindset of someone who is following Frank. It all becomes clear as the story unfolds and reaches a satisfactory conclusion. There is one part of the ending that I expected, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. It’s always interesting to see how the Punisher effects those around him, and this is a nice one-shot story!

The last ride of the Harbringer continues as we now have a captain, but the infiltration continues from last issue and it’s a lot nastier than you would think. With only a skeleton crew the rebels are doing the best they can. With a crack stormtrooper unit on board, things look bleak. This is a highly enjoyable arc, and I’m enjoying the characters that we know play off of each other – Han and Leia being the best! It will be interesting to see how Luke fairs!
