INTRODUCING LINGOZING!: LANGUAGE LEARNING MADE EASY AND FUN THROUGH DIGITAL COMIC BOOKS AND GRAPHIC NOVELS!

A Revolutionary New Learning App Launches on Kickstarter Today!

December 14, Malta–Today, as we head into the final weeks of the holiday shopping season, the market for self paced language learning changes forever with the introduction of LingoZING!: an all-new platform for language learners of all ages!

LingoZING! introduces an entertaining and immersive environment to help you master a new language by harnessing the visual storytelling of comic books and graphic novels from some of the top publishers and creators in the industry. LingoZING! offers titles for every age group, genre and subject matter, to satisfy a wide range of tastes and interests.

The interactive and intuitive multi-language interface gives users the ability to follow the story in two languages; switching between written and audio translations using a dedicated slider on your phone or tablet, with actors reading lines back to you. LingoZING’s voice recognition tool lets you test your own pronunciation as you go, and even record your voice over a comic book panel of your choice and share your progress with your friends on social media.

“I learned Italian using comic books ages ago without sound, as did many of my friends” says executive chairman and founder, Kyra Pahlen. “When apps came along, I thought, ‘wow let’s use technology to make this fun!’”

LingoZING! premiers today on Kickstarter, with six comics to become available in English, French, and Brazilian Portuguese – and other languages to follow. Included in this initial offering are Zach Weinersmith’s beloved Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, Pénélope Bagieu’s Joséphine, Gilles Le Coz’s Mourir Nuit Gravement à La Santé (Dying is Seriously Bad for Your Health), Isabelle Melançon & Megan Lavey-Heaton’s Namesake, Author Florian Quittard & Artist Anaiïs Bernabé and La Pluie des Corps (The Rain of Corpses), and Minna Sundberg’s Stand Still. Stay Silent.
