We kick off here with it leading directly off the events of last issue. Wizord’s source of power seems to have been taken away and there are forces in place which are building against him. Who’d of thought that his beard would be directly linked to his magic power, but it’s a nice touch, and it does some good with the reveal nearer the end.
We get a closer look at how things work and how things happen in Wizords home too, which is a nice continuation of the events that will be leading up to this big battle we know we’re going to get at the end.
The addition of the relationship was well done, and I especially like the art in the battle scene. This is an enjoyable series, which isn’t too heavy!
