Reviews: Daredevil & The Punisher

Daredevil #18 & The Punisher #10

My thoughts on two digital comics from Marvel Comics

It looks like we’re getting closer to the event of Daredevil’s secret identity being a secret. It’s interesting as there were some points I suspected, although not the ending of it all! Matt’s confession is very interesting and we understand how he was ‘lost’ – it’s very spiritual. It’s good (?) to see the return of the Purple Man, as I think he is an excellent villain who could be used more outside of Daredevil – imagine!
This issue builds well on the last issue, with equal action and talk (including confession!) I especially like the Daredevil pose and style in the last panel!

The preview says Agent Ortiz “may be in trouble”, but to my mind she’s the only one who’s got it all together!
The mercs are going through their own leadership problems, with leadership showing what they are really made of – meanwhile some are making plans for the arrival of Frank – which they know is coming. The Punisher has his own planes, and although they are pretty simple, you can tell they are planned out with blood, guns and explosions! Even he gets time to grin! Things don’t all go to plan though….
Ortiz is on her way, with the still iving Face (just) and she could prove to be the joker in the pack as it seems that no-one has planned for her!
Great fun!
