In other news, San Diego Comic Con is almost under way! With Previews Night beginning later today, the comic book world is buzzing with excitement for the 2017 Eisner Awards. Named for the pioneering comics creator and graphic novelist Will Eisner, The Eisner Awards, considered the “Oscars” of comic books, will be given out on Friday, July 21st.
