Issue #2 and there is still no ‘official’ meeting of the Werewolf! Although there is some very heavy hints towards it. It seems that the Vampires (Van Helsing’s natural prey) have a problem other than our hero! The Werewolf is slaughtering them, and they are being driven away.
There are some interesting team-ups here, with Van Helsing being rescued by some hi-tech monks (one of which with connections to her father!) and also the Chinese agent from the first issue. There is the traditional fight between the two women heroes as they work out that there is a bigger problem than their animosity!
This issue does give us a further problem for the two (plus their guide), the leader of the Vampires seems to be quite high in their structure and he wants the women gone.
This was an entertaining issue, with some good humour and action. The change of the usual location makes things interesting too!
