Review: Chimera #7

Their numbers reduced, the stranded fugitives deal with loss and regret as foes close in from all sides.

Written and Art by Tyler Ellis

After the gut punches of the last issue, we get a fair amount of mopping up and reevaluation with our various protagonists.  Cass being unconscious makes a good method of explaining what has happened while she was out. Death and destruction of a god. A kind of good news/bad news day for their god. After that we are with the rest of the team. After the death of their pilot (well, the only physic in the team) they are stuck on Lud – not knowing that they are being watched too, things will be happening to them pretty soon. In their search to escape though, Alice’s past catches up with her, and she makes a decision that may haunt her, but I don’t think it will.

The art continues to be tremendous in this with some excellent use of colour and tones.
