Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2067

Some thoughts on Prog 2067 of 2000 AD

JUDGE DREDD: THE SHROUD by Michael Carroll (w) Paul Davidson (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Dredd seems to have a plan, but does it work out? It seems like everything is going the way he thought, but I’m really not sure, as he doesn’t end up in a good place at the end of this issue! Trust in Dredd I suppose! I like the people around him and the action taking place. Dredd isn’t often seen like this, and I like the set up!

SAVAGE: THE THOUSAND YEAR STARE by Pat Mills (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Ellie De Ville (l)

A way out for Bill – of course, and I like the way it was all set up! Bill looks to be getting his revenge and the battle is truly on with Quartz being the ultimate enemy! The suspense was excellent, and it looks like we’re on the home straight here as the battle is being brought forward!

BRASS SUN: ENGINE SUMMER by Ian Edginton (w) INJ Culbard (a) Ellie De Ville (l)

We get some new information in this issue, but I don’t know how much use it will be – they may all be doomed eventually! There is some fantastic art here, with the final two pages being amazing! I wonder where this will all head!?

BAD COMPANY: TERRORISTS by Peter Milligan (w) Rufus Dayglo (a) Dom Regan (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Bad Company seem in a bad way as the assault on them continues. They do get some help though – and perhaps a future mission as they march onwards. This is full on ttack in this issue, with only a little respite at the end. It looks like things are going to get worse for them as they continue looking for the officer!

ABC WARRIORS: FALLOUT by Pat Mills (w) Clint Langley (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Schemes and plots abound and some answers too! We discover why and the who as well as the how!
