JUDGE DREDD: MACHINE LAW by John Wagner (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
We got some of Dredd’s feelings about the robots in this issue, but I must admit – the results seem to talk for themselves. Dredd gets to the crux of the visit, but we get no answer…yet. This was a smooth Dredd issue!
SKIP TRACER: LOUDER THAN BOMBS by James Peaty (w) Paul Marshall (a) Quinto Winter (c) (a) Ellie De Ville (l)
Skip get pretty emotional here, and you can see the difficulty he is in! I like the way he reacted to his ‘friends’ death, it makes him more relatable. He’s also got a way forward, and luckily for him he can make an entrance. This story is moving on fast!
THARG’S 3RILLERS: KEEPER OF SECRETS by Robert Murphy (w) Steven Austin (a) Pippa Mather (c) Ellie De Ville (l)
There’s a way out here, but also a further problem. The moderizing of the old gods is really good. I like Mercury and this was built up well – this brings us to a really interesting conclusion!
BRINK: HIGH SOCIETY by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
This was a trippy issue – but we expected that. I like the way it all built up, and it makes next issue interesting as it wraps up. Bridgit is an interesting character, and I hope she comes out ok! Some great fun with the art too!
