Review: Atomic Robo & the Dawn of a New Era #3

Some thoughts on the latest issue of this Atomic Robo adventure!

Atomic Robo has opened Tesladyne Institute to the next generation of Action Scientists. Vik and Lang make an unscheduled appearance. Bernie’s trapped in an extinct lava tube and probably losing his mind. Foley tries to keep the place from burning down. Fun Fact: Robo’s building a secret robot son using the AI from Hashima Island that almost killed, uh, Earth. Twice. It’s fine!

I’ve got to admit – I got a kick out of that cover!

Well, this really got things moving. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the vampires, but we get another return! It’s a shame about the vacation, although there may not be another chance if the vampires get their way. Meanwhile we find out what’s been happening underground, and what that may add to all the trouble already happening.

Yes – there is more trouble. I happen to like the students though – they add an extra dynamic to those on base, and Robo seems more clued up than he may let on! The other trouble being the AI that Robo has created. So far they seem to be getting on well, but maybe some of the comments Robo is making aren’t a good idea!!
