Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2159

Some thoughts on this weeks 2000 AD – Prog 2159, out now!

I love the style of this cover!

JUDGE DREDD: THE HARVEST by Michael Carroll (w) Nick Percival (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Dredd’s investigation continues, and the violence continues too. I like the build up to it all, and the death dealing assassin is well done. We still don’t much about him/her, so we have more to see.

DEFOE: THE DIVISOR by Pat Mills (w) SK Moore (a) Ellie De Ville (l)

Defoe’s battle looks to be coming to an end. He’s doing the honorable thing, and the battle has its ups and downs. The ending is going to be interesting!

BRINK: HATE BOX by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)

We loop round to the beginning of this story here, with Bridget finding out more about some of the deaths and what may be causing them. We also get the sect side of the crimes, and I love the final two panels!

HOPE: UNDER FIRE by Guy Adams (w) Jimmy Broxton (a) Ellie De Ville (l)

Hope is bringing the fight back to Modi, and he has to do the only thing he can. It can be seen as the the humane thing to do, but is it enough?
Next issue will be bad!!

THE FALL OF DEADWORLD: DOOMED by Kek-W (w) Dave Kendall (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

The fightback against the ‘dead’ Judges continues. I like the monologue and the way it flashes back.
