Some thoughts on this weeks issue of 2000 AD – Prog 2186

  • UK and DIGITAL: 17 June £2.99
  • NORTH AMERICA: 17 July $24 (per pack)
  • DIAMOND: APR202009
  • COVER: CLIFF ROBINSON (A) DYLAN TEAGUE (C)

Judge Dredd: End of Days by Rob Williams (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Dredd seems to be fighting off some doubts. Will this adventure give him more doubts or renew him? The build-up to finding the first horseman starts here, with a flip on where he is – even Dredd assumes wrong!

Sinister Dexter: Boys in the HUD by Dan Abnett (w) Steve Yeowell (a) John Charles (c) Jim Campbell (l)

Some pretty good action here, with the gun-sharks getting out of there. This looks like its the epic Sinister Dexter story that has been teased – looking forward to what is next!

Full Tilt Boogie by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Simon Bowland (l)

It looks like we’ve got a build-up to a war! Warriors are being chosen, and some don’t want to be so. Meanwhile, in space, there seems to be some distractions!

The Order: Land of the Free by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)

There’s a lot of learning here, and very relevant learning too. I like some of the stories here, and the way it is being set up.

The Diaboliks: La Vita Malvagia by Gordon Rennie (w) Dom Reardon (a) Jim Campbell

Some nice twists on mythology here. I like the build up and the team look like they’re going to be fun to read! A good cliffhanger too.
