The battle against one of the horsemen is here. And more from The Out, Full Tilt Boogie, The Order and The Diaboliks.

  • NORTH AMERICA: 8 August $24 (per pack)

  • COVER: NEIL ROBERTS
Now that is a gruesome cover!

Judge Dredd: End of Days by Rob Williams (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Simon Bowland (l)

We get an interesting flashback here. I expect it will be something that will be built on as the series progresses. The battle against Famine was interesting, as was how it works. I wonder if each ‘horseman’ is going to be different?

The Out by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

The Out gets out as we learn that people are leaving. There are some good learning points on the alien races and what they do, plus they learn about humans.
The Ooking is happening…

Full Tilt Boogie by Alex de Campi (w) Eduardo Ocana (a) Simon Bowland (l)

We get more of the knights in this issue. It’s interesting to see them as they realise what they have to do. The final panel is pretty haunting – well done there.

The Order: Land of the Free by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)

Dealing with the airborne attack isn’t without its casualties. It’s well done with some nice flashbacks in the middle of the action. This series always does battle scenes well.

The Diaboliks: Profundo Rosso by Gordon Rennie (w) Dom Reardon (a) Jim Campbell

A nice explainer of the Coven Of The Five Sisters and what The Diaboliks are up against. I like the way they forced help too – that is cruel!
