Review: Van Helsing vs The League of Monsters #3

We’re at the midway point of this Van Helsing mini-series that has been built up to for a while. From Zenescope Entertainment Van Helsing vs The League of Monsters #3

The League of Monsters grows in rank as Van Helsing and her allies begin to slowly piece together a way to stop Dracula and the others. But what is coming is far beyond what they could have planned for and can not only change her world but the world at large for the foreseeable future.

Featuring a star studded cast of the Grimm Universe heroes, Robyn Locksley, and Hellchild, as well as the greatest villains, from Van Helsing’s past, that she has ever faced before.

Writer: Dave Franchini
Artwork: Julius Abrera

We’re at the midway point of this series and things are already starting to slot into place for Van Helsing. She’s has not only discovered that Dracula is back, but her ‘sister’ is also involved. She seems to have some comments about that, but I’m sure we’ll find out more later.
Dracula on the other hand has also been busy, he’s been gathering his ‘legion’ for the battle, and there is a new one added in this issue. It’s quite formidable, and Van Helsing seems to have the odds stacked against her. Angelica is there too, but I think she is being used as a means to an end.

I liked where this issue is heading and the story seems to be moving at the right pace for a six issue mini series. The art is excellent, with some good colouring – especially the spells.
