Review: Grimm Fairy Tales #40

Dragged into a book – Skye’s adventures continue in Grimm Fairy Tales #40 from Zenescope Entertainment.

Skye has taken matters into her own hands and has followed the mysterious being into the world existing within its pages. But what Skye finds inside changes everything and may prove to be too much for the Guardian of the Nexus to handle. Skye’s new mysterious journey continues here!

Skye’s book problems continue, what with her being dragged into a new place.
There is lots of vagueness here, with tree thinking she is someone else and wanting to kill her. This part features some good action though.

I like the way the whole sequence is run through, with some good art and colouring – the action works really well.

Then Skye meets someone else – a librarian? Possibly, and then it looks like her book problems are doubled. Maybe – there seems to be a lot that is being built up here, and Skye seems no closer to getting Shang.

This was a good issue, and I like the story – it does make me wonder if this is L-Space?
