Review: Grimm Fairy Tales #44

The Grimm Fairy Tales continue here with more about what has Shang. From Zenescope Entertainment.

One of the many secrets inside the book has made itself known, but what does this mean for the Guardian of the Nexus? And what other mysterious figures are lurking in the darkness? What are their intentions? Is Skye ready for what comes next?

Writer: Dave Franchini
Artwork: Vicente Cifuentes & Moy R.

This was an excellent issue. Moving things on well and giving us the foe and the history.

I got some real Harry Potter vibes with the flashback and that worked well here. There is some old power and Skye learns a lot.

There is some way forward, but that is yet to be discovered. The team are all on the same page (no pun intended!) And I am glad there is a way forward in this story.

The art is well done, with the flashback working really well with a different style.

There are some good character moments here and the old fairies are especially well done.
