Review: 2000 AD – Prog 2225

There is a new Dredd story starting this week and more in Prog 2225 of 2000 AD of Rebellion.

Judge Dredd: The Penitent Man by Kenneth Niemand (w) Tom Foster (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Am interesting twist. We know about the Judges who are at Titan. What about the ones who come back? Dredd’s reaction is interesting as is his interaction with SJS.

Thistlebone: Poisoned Roots by TC Eglington (w) Simon Davies (a) Simon Bowland (l)

Hatching back to some of the previous. I like the format here, and it’s hard to know what to trust. The finish was especially dark.

Visions of Deadworld: You Give Me Fever by Kek-W (w) Dave Kendall (a) Simon Bowland (l)

Another dark one-shot story. It’s interesting as it shows the effect the dead fluids have. An interesting ending too.

Terror Tales: Half Life by John Tomlinson (w) Anna Readman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

A classic horror, with some nice twists. I love the art and the way the story progresses. It felt like a longer story!

Feral & Foe II by Dan Abnett (w) Richard Elson (a) Jim Campbell (l)

Now we’re getting to it. Some fun bickering, but a good set up for the story. I love the art.
