Review – Jupiter’s Legacy: Requiem #6

From Image Comics is the end to this arc in Jupiter’s Legacy: Requiem #6 – out now.

The first arc of the sequel to the smash-hit Netflix show comes to a stunning conclusion as Chloe and Brandon’s children go head to head, and not everyone in this book is getting out alive. Just when you thought we couldn’t top this series, it suddenly goes to the next level.

Writer – Mark Millar
Artist, Cover Artist – Tommy Lee Edwards
Variant Cover Artist – Jeff Dekal

Finishing the arc off with a bang.

There is a lot going on this issue. Some do die and there are some well-played out sacrifices made. I did get a feel of the original Ultimates stories with this issue – by no means a bad thing – and the way that the characters reacted was well done.

There was some enjoyable artwork done here, with the action full of pace and some well thought out colour work. It was frantic in places, but it fitted in well with the chaos for the issue.

This issue really sets things up for the next arc to come.

Some of the family aspects still managed to raise their heads and this is put aside for another day (but not forgotten, I’m sure) I like how that was done as there are bigger aspects to worry about.

Where do we go from here?
