Spinning out that first excellent introduction in issue #1. Radio Apocalypse continues its world-building as we get introduced to more of the characters in this world.

It works out really well and links the characters together in this small community on the edge of devastation. Of course, there is more to come as we know – refugees are on their way and that causes another problem. one of sustainability.

How this is all going to work out we, and the characters, have no idea and this is going to put some pressure on the town and the current inhabitants.

I like the way the radio station is the link between them all – as is music generally. It feels like a playlist as we work our way through, with bikers, Reapers and the monsters that inhabit the darkness.

This issue ups the ante on the ‘xinos’ as there is a nest nearby – with a pretty scary look into them all. Nevertheless, things in the short term work out ok.

This is really building into something and I enjoy the way the characters interact with each other.

The art and colours work perfectly here, with some washed-out styles and brightness for some. There are some excellent scenes.
