Fund Me Friday: Caspian Porter #2

Previously featured and reviewed here, Caspian Porter returns to Kickstarter with Caspian Porter #2 + back issues.

A space delivery man lands on a mysterious planet after being sucked through a wormhole. Launching on March 8th!

With issues #0 and #1 in the bag – as well as being available as catch-ups on the Kickstarter, we find Caspian Porter on Mars and time-displaced.

This issue works really well, with a tease of what is to come from the issue. Before it gets to the result of that, Caspian gets the lowdown on what the situation is on Mars. It’s interesting as he isn’t the only one who has gone through the wormhole. Here we discover the situation and the chances of escape.

The pacing works really well, and I get a good feel for the story and the ways it is heading. There are some excellently shown scenes in many different situations – drinking, tech, space, the jungle and desert. I really liked how it all fits together.

The story gives me flashbacks to Flash Gordon in style – the attitudes of the characters and the different worlds and people.

This is a good series with some classic sc-fi and worth jumping on.
