Judge Dredd: The Citadel by John Wagner (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse

The flashbacks to the Apocalypse war continue. I’m still not totally convinced as to how authentic the narrator is in this story. Dredd seems a little ‘off’ to me. It makes me wonder what the end game is here…

Proteus Vex: Desire Paths by Michael Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)

A pretty action-packed issue. I like the commentary about desire paths. I hadn’t heard of this, but it makes sense to me. I like the finish here, and wonder where this will lead now.

Kingmaker by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Jim Campbell (l)

An interesting and amusing twist. I’m currently re-reading Dune, and this gave me a feeling of that. I like the reactions to this new status quo and now have no idea where it will lead.

The Order: Fantastic Voyage by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)

An interesting aspect as we learn what the shadow is after. Franklin is in a bad place, but there is a plan. Nevertheless, we finish with a big cliffhanger for when The Order returns.

Brink: Mercury Retrograde by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland

There are some interesting code-words being used here, and that draws you in. Meanwhile, there is more about the investigation and the things going on in the background. This is all quite suspicious.
