From Rebellion this week it’s 2000 AD – Prog 2273, with a new story starting in this issue.

  • UK and DIGITAL: 15 March 2022 £3.25
  • NORTH AMERICA: 25 May $26

Judge Dredd: The Citadel by John Wagner (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse

We get a lot more of the chaos of the war here, with Dredd leading the defence. He makes some tough decisions, but he seems to be keeping most of them alive. We are getting to the Citadel of the story now.

Kingmaker: Falls the Shadow by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Jim Campbell (l)

Some interesting conversations here, with a good tease of what is to come. The end of the issue adds to that, but I have a feeling that is more immediate.

Proteus Vex: Desire Paths by Michael Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Things are interesting here, and it looks like the war is beginning here. The Scorchers reaction is interesting – do they have something to fear of these other races?

Fiends of the Eastern Front: 1963 by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Into the cold war with the things from the shadows. This is a nice start with a classic spy feel to it. The twist is the mystic element. I like the look of this!

Brink: Mercury Retrograde by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland

An interesting conversation here, with a deeper look into what this investigation will entail. Even so, there looks like there are going to be some interesting revelation as we get to the end of the issue.
