This was a nicely bookended issue.
Starting out in the wilderness, we get a new look at how the monsters can be at least tamed. It’s an interesting method, which we find out how we got to this point in the end third of the book. I like the way this series jumps to and from the different characters as they try to fight back.
There is the military, with General Sullivan having his own personal crisis. This is spreading out to the real world and he makes some terrible decisions. His breakdown is an interesting point to the Scientists of the world.
There are also those who try to be calm. This works for a while, but as we see the emotions do end up running out of control – with bloody results!
This continues to be an excellent book, with some interesting art and well-told panels.
I like the way the monsters are more of a side-effect, with the human issues being front and center.
