Judge Dredd: The Citadel by John Wagner (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse
The story ends with an interesting twist. I like the way there is still a suspicion going on here, with some good character moments. I wonder if this will be revisited in some form?
Hope: In The Shadows by Guy Adams (w) Jimmy Broxton (a) Jim Campbell (l)
Hope gets some help, and it looks like he will have some support in this investigation. Meanwhile the hierarchy of the movie is still being discussed, and a further twist to the tale…
I like the method of communication here.
Brink: Mercury Retrograde by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland
It seems like there have been some ripples made by this investigation. I like the talk about the food and water, and wonder if that will be part of this. Meanwhile, the ending leaves some things open.
Future Shocks: Relict by Honor Vincent (w) Lee Milmore (a) Simon Bowland (l)
I thought this was going to be a cuter Future Shock – but no – this was a good issue with an interesting finish for us all. I liked the twist as I didn’t see it coming.
Fiends of the Eastern Front: 1963 by Ian Edginton (w) Tiernen Trevallion (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A slower-paced part, but it adds well to the overall story. The cliffhanger at the end was well played out, and I liked the mention of the other operatives.
