Quarantine Comix has been releasing new issues throughout this lockdown, and now they have had some extra people joining in!
Featured this week are a brace of candied treats:
-Renowned Irish writer/artist Declan Shalvey (Savage Town, Moon Knight, the forthcoming Bog Bodies) dips his emerald toes into the ICM sandbox for an eco-unfriendly parable—rooted, as it were, by the poetry of Sarah Teasdale.
-Up-and-coming comix scribe Deniz Camp (author of Vault’s absolutely brilliant Maxwell’s Demons) teams up with illustrator Artyom Topolin to bring us an ICM story (à la Chris Ware!) from inside a city window; watch as a young girl draws her quarantine fantasies right onto the glass.
As ever, half of all proceeds go to BINC/Comics United, to help the comics shops we love.
