Dracula: The Company of Monsters Now As A Webcomic

Boom! Studios have released their maxi series Dracula: The Company of Monsters as a webcomic at http://draculacomic.com It refreshes daily and is defiantly worth reading.

DRACULA: THE COMPANY OF MONSTERS tells the story of a powerful, predatory corporation that acquires a valuable asset…Dracula. They think they own him, but no one can own the Son of the Dragon. There’s a monster in their midst that puts Hannibal Lecter to shame –- and he plans to gain his freedom in blood.

It’s bloodsuckers vs. bloodsucker, as Busiek brings a modern spin to the classic Dracula mythos. Joining Busiek is award-winning author Daryl Gregory (PANDEMONIUM) and rising star artist Scott Godlewski (CODEBREAKERS) with Harvey Award-nominee Damian Couciero (RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES).

Kurt Busiek is a Eisner Award and Harvey Award-winning  comic book writer most notable for his work on the MARVELS limited series, his own title ASTRO CITY, and his four-year run on THE AVENGERS.

Busiek has worked on a number of different titles in his career, including THE AVENGERS, IRON MAN, SUPERMAN: SECRETY IDENTITY as well as the award-winning MARVELS and Kurt Busiek’s ASTRO CITY. In August of 2010 Kurt Busiek and BOOM! Studios debuted DRACULA: THE COMPANY OF MONSTERS created and written in part by the acclaimed comic book writer.

Daryl Gregory is an acclaimed science fiction writer who has published three critically acclaimed novels, PANDEMONIUM, THE DEVIL’S ALPHABET, and RAISING STONY MAYHALL, as well as several short stories and two comic book series for BOOM! Studios, DRACULA: THE COMPANY OF MONSTERS and the fan-favorite PLANET OF THE APES comic series. Daryl currently lives in State College, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.

Scott Godlewski is an Arizona based freelance illustrator and writer. His work includes art for BOOM! Studios’ Dracula: The Company of Monsters as well as co-creator of Mysterious Adventure Magazine.

Damian Couceiro is a comic artist living in Rosario, Argentina, who studied under Marcelo Frusin from a young age. His published work includes a short story in the AIT/Planet Lar anthology Proof of Concept, the graphic novel Full Moon Fever with writer Joe Casey and, most recently, two BOOM! Studios mini-series NOLA and HAWKS OF OUTREMER as well as fill-in art for DRACULA: THE COMPANY OF MONSTERS.
