Here’s a new series from Image Comics with it’s own built in universe. Already in issue #2 and we already have the feel for the universe and what’s going on in it!
The pacing and style of this story gives us equal parts action, talking and suspense. Each part of the story is well crafted and moves at it’s own speed.
We get a good feel of our main character Maya, and we meet a new one, connected to Maya and her people.
The art and layouts work well here, stopping the pages from getting too ‘wordy’ and cluttered. There are some excellent scenes here and larger panels too! (below)
In all we get a good issue #2 which carries the story on extremely well!
