The Shadow ventures beyond the Iron Curtain, deep into the heart of the Soviet Union, seeking clues to a mystery that reaches back into his own mysterious past, and which threatens to destroy the man he has become.
I’m still loving the covers for this series! #20 gives us a look at some more of The Shadow’s history – pre-shadow maybe? It also takes him out of his comfort zone of the city – but it still doesn’t look that way. There’s some excellent parts here, with the Shadow meeting an old friend from the time of the Tsar! Brutal as always and unforgiving there is something worrying him and we shall soon see what!
