Ghostboy was an early friend of 3 Million Years and Jason James now has a new Ghostboy title out on the Kindle!
On the night of his 11th birthday, Tristan is visited by a resident of the local cemetery… the ghost of a little girl in need of help!
Ghostboy and The Little Ghost Girl is the collected chapters taken from the original ‘ghostboy’ comic app series. Conceived five years ago ‘ghostboy’ began life as a mobile device comic on both the Apple App Store and Android Markets, and was also released as an interactive children’s book for the Kindle Keyboard, which was the first interactive children’s book to be released on the Kindle Keyboard.
Now, you can read the adventures of Tristan aka ‘ghostboy’ on your Android Device.
Ghostboy and The Little Ghost Girl is the first in a series of stories following the spooky adventures of Tristan and his friends. The book is accompanied by a number of illustrations that were originally created for the mobile device comic.
While not strictly a comic, this is a lovely mix of art and prose which I am looking forward to reading to my son! Tristan can see and hear ghosts and when he starts to see the Ghost Girl he discovers a lot more about those around him.
It’s an excellent adventure which children will enjoy – the art, although in black and white, is absolutely perfect for this story. Jason’s art looks simple at first, but there is a lot of heart gone into all of these (and I’ve still got an original drawing by him!)
This story mixes in the best of children, making it fun and a bit spooky – which I know they will love. Combined with the artwork, I know there will be a lot of enjoyment of this story.
