My thoughts on the latest issues of Biff To The Future and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Biff To The Future #4 & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #69
Biff’s rise to power continues and he is working his way to where we see him in Back To The Future II. We discover just how high his power goes as he buys out the Washington Post and makes a good friend of the President on the way. It’s well done, and you can see it coming when the word ‘Watergate’ is mentioned. From there it’s a fast read as no one is taking any of his bets and his kids are rebelling against him! We’re getting closer, but not there yet, as this alternate reality introduced Doc Brown!
Still an enjoyable read though and Biff is a character you love to hate!
Hob and the Turtles are stuck in a difficult situation and Agent Bishop is on the way with Slash to finish them off. Bishop has an interesting conversation with his father, and it harks back to the Area 51 days. This was interesting, and will it add another dimension to the TMNT universe? The meeting with his Dad has an interesting and potentially disastrous link to the end of the story though! I like all the action in between – Hob and the Turtles may have their differences, but they seem to work well together! Although Hob doesn’t help too much!
Slash is still under their control, and Mikey is obviously upset about this – I wonder how long it will be until the Foot get involved?
