Arnold Annuson: Limitless Power
Arnold Annuson is a Tragic-Comedy-Sci-fi-Thriller about the struggle of a middle aged, inconspicuous high school physics teacher who suddenly comes by a terrible power for no apparent reason.
A seemingly limitless power…

Limitless power, that is a staple of what super villains want, and some heroes and villains have. This power is given to a simple physics teacher. We kick off with the teacher lamenting his burden. That’s what it is, a burden, it needs to be released, but he can’t always – he’s afraid of it.
Not only that, but he resents it, resents his life and what has happened to him. This should be a great power, but he doesn’t see it that way.
It’s about at this point I can go without giving away some spoilers that happen about halfway through. There is a good build to the story and that twist is artfully done, and changes the whole complexion of the story!
The story flows really well, before and after the twist, I like the commentary as well as the way it is all framed.
The black and white art is well done, with some excellent scenes, including the driving scene 🙂 I like the additional colour, with the blue of the ‘power’ burning its way through the story!
Well worth a read!
