Fully recovered and ready to go. Some notes on the London Expo May 2010.
- Finally got a copy of ‘The Losers’ (Volume 1 & 2) – Still didn’t get a chance to meet Andy Diggle though. Thats the second time, i’m starting to think he doesn’t exist!
- Bit gutted i’m not able to go up today, as I would like to meet Paul Cornell (He of ‘Pulse’ & Captain Britain & MI:13)
- Met Rich Johnston of Bleeding Cool – had a good chat with him about digital & mobile comics.
- Met some people from the Comic Creators Guild – very interesting and I see some possibilities there!
- Also met Lisa from the Thought Bubble Festival – very nice of her to invite me, I’ll have to see if I can get to Leeds!
- Had a good chat about PSP comics with Markosia Enterprises – there is going to be some emails flying around there!
- On the subject of the Comics Creators Guild – I also got some comics for review by Giovanni Spinella – I’ll be reviewing them soon.
- Also received a good preview of Elephantmen and Marineman, by Image comics.
- Had a brief chat with Ben Templesmith – it was good to just watch him work!
- Of course I met Warren Ellis – Gave him Red Bull, got him to deface my copy of Ignition City and blinded him when I took a picture!
Here are some photos – more to follow!
