As for IN MAPS & LEGENDS, though, we picked ourselves up after our short run at Zuda and took a good hard look at the story, characters, and art, and we decided we didn’t want it all to end just yet. We never really considered continuing it as a webcomic — it was more a question of where and how we’d distribute it as a digital comic. Believe me, we had some crazy weeks this past July where Niki and I essentially became a publisher: UnWrecked Press.
We hooked up with half a dozen online distributors like Comixology, Graphic.ly, DriveThruComics, Robot Comics, Wowio, and more. We made the comic available pretty much anywhere we could find a storefront, including Amazon’s Kindle Store. We figure that most people have found the distributors or sites they like best for downloading books and comics, so why limit ourselves to just one site?
