For a while I have noticed that the Twitter log in on my Comixology app isn’t working, well I can wonder no more!
For those of you using our iPhone app and the Twitter functionality are probably wondering what the heck is going on with that function (it’s not working). We’ve been a little slow to meet the new requirement of OAuth on Twitter, and we still haven’t had the opportunity to put OAuth on the app just yet. We don’t have Twitter functionality in our iPad app for the same reason.
We appreciate your patience, and wanted to let you know how we’ll be handling it moving forwards. First, we’re likely to remove the function all together in the next version of the app, expected sometime in November. Second, we’ll put even better Twitter functionality into a version of the app scheduled for the end of Q1 2011, with support for the iPad as well. Once again, thank you for your understanding and we will continue to deliver you the best reading experience and support as possible.
