Sadly, Jericho Drumm made the ultimate sacrifice recently in the pages of New Avengers, from all appearances, shuffling off this mortal coil to safeguard Earth from the threat of Agamotto. However, it’s not too late to appreciate Jericho’s all-too-brief but eventful and impressive stint as Sorcerer Supreme in Doctor Voodoo: Avenger of the Supernatural. Dive into the first issue to see the newly anointed Doc attempting to balance his new mystical responsibilities while also trying to maintain personal and professional lives in New Orleans. Doctor Strange pops by to lend some expertise and Jericho’s dead brother, Daniel, counsels him from the afterlife, but it’s Doctor Voodoo who must forge his own path as Earth’s primary mystical protector.
