Mobile Comics Year In Review: Ave! Comics

As we come towards the end of the year, I am going to be reflecting on the state of mobile comics and the changes we have had over the last twelve months. I will be looking at distributors, contributors and publishers.

Ave! Comics come accross as something different – with public domain characters and publishers such as Markosia and Selfmadehero, Ave! are looking at the indie and smaller markets in comics. These still have their place and seem to be doing well enough to keep going.

Their market seems to be more of the French and Spanish speaking countries and as yet, I haven’t really heard something good, bad or indifferent about them – I would be interested in hearing from anyone who uses Ave! regually about it though!

The titles Ave1 provide are different from the regular comics community, with classic stories, manga and indie charaters which all have their place.

So its good to see these getting the publicity they deserve.

The reader and the store is inoffencive and usable, as well as some Twitter and Facebook integration for ease of use.
