In the near future, David Hollenbach and I will be publishing a book with Septagon that I’m writing and he’s illustrating called “Gator Butch”. It’s about a monster-fighting redneck. It’s been a ton of fun so far, but that’s not why I wanted to write this intro.
David Hollenbach is the kind of artist that makes you sit up and take notice of his work. Yes, you’ve seen the work of Dave McKean and Ashley Wood. The Fix
